Accident in Aimargues Kills Six, Including Five Children

Six people, including five children, were killed in a car accident in Aimargues, southern France, on Saturday, local authorities said.

The accident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. on the D6113 road near the town of Aimargues, in the Gard department.

A car and a van collided head-on, killing all six occupants of the car. The driver of the van was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital in Montpellier.

The victims of the accident have been identified as a 30-year-old woman, her four children aged 3 to 10, and a 15-year-old boy.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Local authorities have expressed their condolences to the families of the victims and have offered support to those affected by the tragedy.
