Sonic Frontiers Release Date Revealed at Gamescom ONL
Sega has announced the highly anticipated release date for Sonic Frontiers, its upcoming open-zone platforming game. During Gamescom ONL, the company confirmed that Sonic's next adventure will be available on November 8, 2022, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Sonic Frontiers promises to deliver a thrilling experience with its high-velocity gameplay and open-world exploration. Players will control Sonic as he races across the Starfall Islands, discovering hidden secrets, solving puzzles, and battling enemies in a vibrant and expansive environment.
Sega's Gamescom Lineup Unveiled
Sega has also revealed its video game lineup for this year's Gamescom, which will take place in Cologne, Germany, from August 21st to August 25th. In addition to Sonic Frontiers, Sega will showcase several other upcoming titles, including:
- Sonic X Shadow Generations: An enhanced remaster of the 2011 original with a new story campaign.
- Yakuza Kiwami 2: A remastered version of the 2017 prequel to Yakuza 0.
- Persona 5 Royal: The definitive edition of the acclaimed role-playing game.
