Shakhtar's Bonanza

The defending champions, Shakhtar Donetsk, showcased their dominance with a resounding 4-0 triumph over FC Karpaty Lviv at the Donbass Arena. Lassina Traoré opened the scoring in the first half, while Yevhen Konoplyanka, substitute Heorhiy Sudakov, and Mykhaylo Mudryk all found the net in the second half.

Lviv and Inhulets played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in Lviv. Vladyslav Buhay and Oleksandr Bandura scored for Lviv, while Vitaliy Ponomar and Vladlen Yurchenko netted for Inhulets.
